Greater Boston Bookkeeping and Financial Services wants you to understand how we handle the personal information about you that we collect and may disclose.

As your financial services consultant, we collect:

• Information provided by you from your source documents, worksheets and discussions
• Information that we develop as part of our engagement

As your financial services consultant, we promise to keep all information about our engagement confidential. Our firm may provide confidential information you give us to independent contractors that we have engaged to assist us in delivering our services to you. When we engage an independent contractor they are required to agree, in writing, to maintain all information they are provided confidential. Further, your information does not leave our premises and is under our supervision at all times. Except as stated above, we will not disclose any information about you unless we have your approval. This applies even if you are no longer a client.

As your financial services consultant, we are committed to the safekeeping of your confidential information, and we maintain physical and procedural safeguards to protect your information. These safeguards include cross-cut shredding of non-essential working papers, password-protecting computer files, and storing permanent files in locked filing cabinets.
